Nick's father relocates him and his younger brother across the country after a mysterious house fire burns down their home and kills Nick's mother. Nick chooses the attic for his bedroom, and hosts a yard sale to sell all of the junk that had been left up there by the previous owner. Nick and his new school friends soon discover that the antique items each have extraordinary properties due to enhancements made by genius scientist Nikola Tesla. Nick and his friends must get back everything that was sold at the garage sale, but their new mission is in danger due to a secret society of physicists determined to use the items for the wrong reasons.
